Have you ever considered why a man loves you? It’s because he likes the original you, with your way of doing things, your attitude towards everything. But why do women when they fall in love become blind to reason and attach themselves to love so much that they lose themselves?

Currently watching In Time With You. I think this drama is pretty realistic *yet not in the same way* the protagonist is a woman who just reached her thirty and cannot find someone who can truly love her for who she is. Yet she has this guy *her best friend* by her side ever since high school but they can never be more than just friends. And of course in the show he is secretly in love with her this whole time. There was a scene where Ariel *female protagonist* realize why Wilson *male protagonist* said he can never love her. It’s because when you start to feel like you have something, it is actually the start of a loss. So if he gets with her, there might be a chance that they will lose each other and nobody wants that. I feel that it is SO TRUE. But then at the same time, it’s the simple question, “Would you have rather love and lost, or never love at all?” Everybody claims there is no pure friendship between a boy and a girl, especially when you get so close. Eventually you get either get together or break apart but why? That is a question I want to figure out too.
So is love just infatuation? Or is it the getting used to be with somebody and being comfortable with them although the word ‘love’ was never mentioned? Because like the show said, love is sort of like soda. In the beginning you would get the bubbly feeling, and as time goes by, the bubbles disappear and all there is left is just the sweet syrup. Then you would want to get a new soda. Is it really? Should we find ourselves a new type of drink that won’t lose its colors even as time goes by? Wine? Because it gets better with age, but then supposedly it’s a type of drink to describe men. And milk is to describe women. They always like them fresh, everybody just throws the old stuff away. Oh how sad. It seems like water is the best option if you don’t want something to go bad. However, it’s just plain and unexciting, do you want that as your love?
I am definitely looking forward to the ending of this show. I want to know how they come up with a decision. As much as I want Ariel to be with Wilson, I feel like it won’t happen for some odd reason *although idol dramas are typically happy ending*. It’s unfair to Wilson, but hey, life is unfair.

xuyuan-ahh:

there are so many life truths and realities.
